This site is owned and operated by US LED, Ltd. ("US LED"). Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. At US LED, we want to make your experience online satisfying and safe. US LED will only collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address, when it is voluntarily submitted to us at this website. This statement discloses the privacy practices of US LED. By using the US LED website, the user agrees, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by this Privacy Statement. This Privacy Statement may be updated from time to time so please check back periodically.

This site is restricted to users from the United States and those not governed by Privacy Policies of European Union. Users from other countries are advised not to disclose personally identifiable information to US LED, because the protection of their information will be under US law and different from the law of their home country.


INFORMATION US LED GATHERS AND TRACKS
Information Collected by US LED


If you do nothing during your visits but browse throughout US LED's website, read pages, or download information, US LED will gather and store certain information about your visit automatically using cookies or other similar tracking technologies. This information does not identify you personally. US LED will automatically collect and store the following information about your visit:

 

  • The Internet domain and Internet address of the computer you are using;

  • The type of browser and operating system used to access our website;

  • The date and time you access our website;

  • Location data based on IP address;

  • The pages you visit; and

  • If you linked to our website from another website, the address to that website.

 

No personally identifiable information is available in this process. US LED does not acquire any more information about you than that information that is either required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely; and US LED does not retain any such information longer than is necessary to meet these objectives.


IF YOU SEND US LED YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you choose to provide US LED with personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address, US LED uses that information only for the purposes you have authorized. While US LED may be required by law to maintain certain documents in accordance with Texas' records retention policies, US LED does not collect personal information for any purpose other than to respond to you.


USE OF INFORMATION
US LED may use contact information provided by the user to reply to the user and send information to the user. US LED does not intend to reveal personally identifiable information to third parties, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public. US LED will provide aggregated information received from users to third parties. US LED takes commercially reasonable precautions to prevent the aggregated information provided to third parties from including significant personally identifiable information.

US LED uses the above-described information to tailor our content to suit your needs and help us to better understand our audience's demographics. PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS​

The PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS applies solely to visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California (“consumers” or “you”). Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once US LED receives and confirm your verifiable consumer request, US LED will disclose to you:

  • The categories of personal information we collected about you.

  • The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.

  • Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information.

  • The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.

 

Deletion Request Rights

You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that US LED collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once US LED receives and confirms your verifiable consumer request, US LED will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies. US LED may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers to:

  • Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a product or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.

  • Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.

  • Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.

  • Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 seq.).

  • Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information’s deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research’s achievement, if you previously provided informed consent.

  • Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.

  • Comply with a legal obligation.

  • Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.

Exercising Access, Data Portability, Deletion, and Opt-out Rights

To exercise the access, portability, deletion, or opt-out rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to US LED by either:

Only you or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person or an authorized representative of the person we collected personal information on.

  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows US LED to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

 

US LED cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if US LED cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.  Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us.  US LED will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.


SECURITY
We make privacy-sensitive information subject to rigorous procedural and technological controls, consistent with legal requirements and the demands of customer service.


GENERAL OPT-OUT POLICY
If you use the US LED website, you have the following choices:

 

  • You can always choose not to provide information, even though it might be needed to take advantage of certain US LED offers or website features.

  • You can add or update certain information that you send to US LED. When you update information, US LED usually retains a copy of the prior version for our records but such prior information will no longer be used.

  • You always have the right to (a) opt out of receiving communications from US LED; and (b) opt out of further disclosures of your personally identifiable information to third parties.
